TravelCafe International Limited Terms and Conditions.

 

PRICES QUOTED
All prices are subject to change. Some instances, which may change pricing, are currency fluctuations or changes in airline rulings. Your prices are guaranteed however when full payment has been received.

Our prices may include booking or service fees. In every instance these will be described separately within any quote and other documentation. TravelCafe's menu of professional fees is displayed in all TravelCafes and on our website.

DEPOSITS
A NZD200.00 non-refundable deposit is required per traveller. Other operators may also require additional deposits.

PAYMENT
All prices are for payment made by cash, eftpos or cheque. If you wish to pay by credit card, please ask your consultant as a fee may apply. If payment is made within 10 working days of departure - we will only accept credit cards, bank cheque, cash or eftpos.

TravelCafe International Ltd reserves the right to pass on any fees incurred in collecting late or overdue payments.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is strongly recommended. Travel insurance not only covers your health and belongings while you are away but it also covers loss of deposits and cancellation fees. It should be taken out when the booking is made. There are a number of different policies available to suit all travellers to all destinations.

FREQUENT FLYER PROGRAMMES
Please advise us of your membership number if you are a member of any airline frequent flyer/mileage membership programme. Retain your boarding passes and copies of tickets for point verification against your statement in case the airline does not capture your membership data correctly. Without these, you may be unable to claim points.

CANCELLATION AND AMENDMENTS
With most files, we do not charge to do amendments while developing the bookings to suit your requirements. Once reservations are confirmed, cancellation fees and/or amendment fees will apply. If you do have to cancel your reservations, every effort is made to minimize any fees incurred.

CONDITIONS
All arrangements are subject to the supplier's transport /accommodation/tour provider regulations and conditions detailed on tickets, vouchers, travel brochures, at accommodation premises, on transport vehicles, or as advised at the time of booking.

PASSPORTS
A valid passport is required to travel internationally (some countries insist the validity be for at least six months beyond the dates of your visit.) A copy of all passports is required at the time of booking.

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE
First Class: 40kg free baggage allowance per person. Business Class: 30kg free baggage allowance per person. Economy Class: 20kg free baggage allowance per person. For travel to and from the USA, the free baggage allowance is 2 pieces per person, up to a maximum of 23kgs per piece.

RECONFIRMATIONS
We recommend that you confirm your flight with the local airline office at least 3 days prior to scheduled departure. Failure to reconfirm may result in the cancellation of some reservations. At this time, also check reporting and flight departure times.

VISA AND DOCUMENTATION RESPONSIBILITIES
It is the passenger's responsibility to ensure they have the appropriate documentation including visas. We are happy to assist you to determine visa requirements wherever possible. New Zealand passport holders do not require an Australia or USA Visa unless they have a criminal record, or have a serious or contagious medical condition (eg Tuberculosis.)

VACCINATIONS
To visit most popular destinations no vaccinations are required. However, for some unique, tropical, or adventure destinations there may be the need for vaccinations. Please check with a TravelCafe or your Doctor.

In the course of arranging your travel, TravelCafe collects and records information about you. We retain this information in our secure database and treat this information as strictly confidential. We do not pass this information on to any third party except where it is required for the provision of travel services to you. Where you have provided us with a physical or email address we may from time to time send marketing related messages to that address, however you may opt out of that service at any time.

 

You may have subscribed to one of TravelCafe's alerts (like the grabaseat alerts) or Travelscoop or one of our travel clubs.
