A few Cruise Tips from our Cruise Experts

  • Pre book your fine dining/speciality restauants and any spa treatments as soon as you board as the book out fast….
  • If you like potatoe chips with you afternoon drinks take some from here….(expensive on board).
  • If you are going to bingo, go to the buffet first and get some snacks to take down to have with your drinks.
  • Walk the stairs don’t take the lifts to help counter-balance all the food you are eating :)
  • Board early to get your first meal before you leave the port
  • Take sea sick pills a few days prior to leaving… just in case
  • Pre buy your lanyard from the $2 shop before you go as they cost a lot to purchase onboard

Any cruises from NZ that would have us with a few days in Queensland 15th – 17th August.
Would like to go to mu daughters gradution in Townsville but are unable to fly….

    • @newzealand says:

Most cruises only have a day in a destination, and there are unfortunately no cruises with start or end in Townsville. there are cruises that start from Cairns or from Brisbane but none with a 2 day stop in Townsville. Getting to Australia will be a bit of a challenge if you are unable to fly.

  2. Clare says:

    Are all quad cabins inside?

  3. Scoop says:

Hi Clare, Not all Quads are Inside. There are outside quads too but the fares for them are a little higher. Just hit the TravelQuote button and let us know that’s what you want or give us a call on 0800 438 688.

We are a family of 2 adults and three children aged 12,9,and 6. Are there any cabin options for us on the 9 night Island gems cruise departing April 29th 2013? What would be the cost for us?

  6. Tim says:

Payment plan: 200$ for booking & balance 75 days before departure is good. However when we book with 200$ are we given an account number so that we can pay some installments before 75 days??
